Programs & Services

– FAMILY FOUNDATION WORKSHOPS
Service members, spouses and children reconnect and re-open lines of communication through a variety of holistic, reflective activities. After they return back to their community, our staff remains engaged and present, providing personal support integrating and applying lessons learned in Montana.
– SPOUSE PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS
Empowering workshop encouraging spouses to identify goals and value themselves as a priority. Spouses learn how to balance service for others with care for self throughout the endless transitions and deployment requirements.
– RESTORE
Extended absence strains relationships between service members and their children. Restore helps them rediscover and strengthen ties in natural teamwork situations. These experiences help validate SOF children into their parent’s lives, increase self-esteem, and improve the connection with their parent.
– TRANSITION AZIMUTH CHECK (TrAC)
Service members and spouses connect with high-level executives in a mentoring workshop designed to help them leverage their unique skill set in the private sector.
– THE CROSSING
Adolescent Gold Star Children are paired with mentors who served alongside their parent in a 12-day wilderness/survival training experience.
– LiT (LEADERS IN TRAINING)
A year-long enrichment program designed for Gold Star high school students. LiT equips children with experiences, education and mentorship necessary to discover their voice and lead a life of meaning and purpose.
– CREATIVE ARTS WORKSHOP
A five-day experience empowering Gold Star Children to build self-confidence by discovering their voice and sharing their story through the creative arts. Kids are introduced to a variety of mediums while exploring the art process and finding new ways to communicate and express themselves.
– INTERWOVEN OUTREACH PROGRAM
Multiple in-person and/or virtual worrkshops on topics such as glass-blowing, emotion coaching, and yoga
